if you at all loved machete, grindhouse, sin city, boondock saints, kill bill, t2, ... or have any interest in the ridiculous awesomeness of hobo with a shotgun..
or, any sort of violent and or slightly twisted sense of humor,

2011 Movie Log

TV redemption

Scripted television is back in full swing showing that incredible writing, acting, directing, production, editing, even music, can shine bright on the small screen. Thank goodness. The decade of reality-show-ruled tv was surely sending us into a state of Idiocracy.

There's inevitably many great shows not on my radar, especially with limited TV time and no cable (thank you netflix!), but here are some excellent shows that are close to my heart :P

(Reviews to come...)

Arrested Development

Dexter

Weeds

Dead Like Me

Pushing Daisies

It's always Sunny in Philadelphia

Archer

Breaking Bad

Freaks and Geeks

To watch list: The Wire, Sons of Anarchy, Madmen, ...

Into the Wild

I haven't watched this film since 2007 from a recommendation from my brother. I watched it recently and captured a sequence of images (via vlc) and thought how a 10 sec flow of the protagonist's life encapsulates his ideal of true happiness towards his last few days on earth.

The Social Network - Explosion

This flick is going to make some cash! Any retard can tell you that. Looking at the trailers on IMDB, I am aiming for a ticket as well.

500 million users worldwide, and Facebook starting from a dormitory - just a bit of history. However did you know that facebook.com, the company, receives about 20,000 job applications a month. It's a beast of a company waiting to expand its wings, and not wings of a bird, but wings of a muscular gorilla waiting to pounce on the world.

A link to IMDB - The Social Network.

Maybe if I'm motivated enough - maybe i'll write about the flick after I watched it.
